Bahamas: Burns House Receives Training on their New Exclusive Wine Portfolio

August 16, 2011 — Retail managers, sales representatives, and brand ambassadors of Burns House were introduced to a new line up of wines including: Alamos, Babich, Catena, Monkey Bay, Ravenswood, Robert Mondavi Private Selection, Robert Mondavi Winery, and Woodbridge.

 

Stansfeld Scott conducted five trainings in Nassau, Freeport, and Abaco. These sessions included tastings, presentations of Key Selling points, Top SKU mix orientation, and Competitive Analysis. Our enthusiastic Regional Portfolio Manager was able to inculcate the vision for these labels and provide the Burn House sales team with the tools to represent these wines with confidence.

Caribbean: Stansfeld Scott Contributes to Seven Seas Brand Awareness Campaigns with Promotional Items

 August 16, 2011 —Seven Seas recently launched a brand awareness campaign all over the Caribbean with a reign of innovative promotional items that were dispensed by the Stansfeld Scott Consumer Healthcare team.

Marketing materials included pill holders, umbrellas, backpacks, pencils, and much more. Distributors are launching Back-to-School Campaigns with Seven Seas branded back packs and pencils.  Seven Seas aims to reach the parental segment by reminding them of Seven Seas as their children head off to school. Pharmacies and Health Care facilities are now displaying Seven Seas clocks in their lobbies.

Stansfeld Scott is continues to participate with regional distributor in building strong brand awareness throughout the Caribbean.

August 16, 2011 — Weeks of meticulous preparation led to the successful agenda of three sales trainings and two successful events coordinated by Vinos, S.A. in Santo Domingo and Santiago.

In an effort to provide tools and improve proficiency Marcel Nuñez Gourley of Stansfeld Scott, visited The Dominican Republic to train and motivate Sales Representatives of Vinos and Assistant Managers of their retail chain, Enoteca.

On July 20th, Vinos, S.A. hosted an exquisite food pairing called “Cena de Maridaje. This dinner offered the guests the opportunity to taste some of the wines in the portfolio including Nobilo, Ravenswood, Blackstone, and Inniskillin. The menu was composed of superb recipes, such as Lubina with grilled beets, glazed onions and Aioli potatoes. The guests were extremely receptive and offered positive feedback.

In the city of Santiago an Open House was held July 21st at Puerta de Sol where our Marcela used her experience and passion to ensure this would be a successful tasting event. Conversations and commentaries on the wines extended through the night. The owner of Puerta del Sol was very pleased with the turn out of this event. Not only were his customers happy but he also sold 98 bottles of wine that night.

Bermuda: Burrows Lightbourn Welcomes Simi’s 2007 Sonoma County Merlot

August 16, 2011 — Burrows Lightbourn in Bermuda aims to create a buzz about their new addition of Simi’s 2007 Sonoma County Merlot.

Michael Robinson of Burrows Lightbourn dedicated a segment to their new addition “Sonoma County Merlot” in La Gazette newspaper on August 5th, 2011.  He described how Simi has been such a vital asset to their portfolio over the years due to its competitive pricing, and unique flavor and aromas.

Sonoma County Merlot has generous aromas of red cherry, black plum, bright cranberry, clove, cinnamon hints of cedar and toasty oak. From a vintage of much herald and so many perfectly interlaced ingredients there is no reason to dismiss this product from your portfolio.

Barbados: Seven Seas supports Aunty Olga/ Ship Inn’s 23rd Fun Run

June 28, 2011 — On Sunday, May 22nd, Joint Care and Haliborange partnered with the Ship Inn and Aunty Olga’s Needy Children’s Fund to celebrate the Fun Run’s 23rd anniversary.  The event attracted over 3000 participants to be part of the 5K race.

Participants from various schools, churches and Corporate Barbados raced from Independence Square to Ship Inn in St. Lawrence Gap. A school art competition was established to choose the 2011 T-shirt design. The lively Joint Care team distributed samples and leaflets from Seven Seas’ competitive exhibition booth. Hydration stations, compliments of Highland Spring Water, were set up along the route. The race packs, giveaways, and prizes were all distributed to the audience in Seven Seas branded carrier bags.
